The first post in my blog!!!

I just thought I should fix my thoughts, impressions and emotions somewhere because I am living a great period of my life now...and I should also share them with my friends and anyone interested, that is why the best way to do it is to create a blog and to write in English so that all my friends could understand!

So here I am! I am in Santa Maria, it is my 4th day here already and I am really really happy!!

It started even before coming, guys from @SM were very very nice and helpful to me! I really didn't expect such a great help from them starting from helping me to buy a ticket and ending with lots of emails and scraps I received from people here welcoming me in Santa Maria even before I arrived.

But when I arrived it was even better. 3 people from EB picked me up at the Bus Station even though I arrived 2 hours earlier than planned!! In the evening we went out to eat X (shis), a typical sandwich like a cheeseburger but much more than just a cheeseburger:)

On the next day I had a very AIESEC day:) EB meeting in the morning, participation in cleaning the local office:) and trainees induction meeting in the evening with pizza and Coke:) hehe

And yesterday I had the first meeting with AEAD (Association of students who study management) the organization I am having internship in. Oh my God!! When I entered the office the guys started to throw balloons to welcome me!!! The office was decorated for my arrival and they gave me flowers of fortune (the alive ones)!!! This was sooo unexpected and nice!! They also told me they went to pick me up at the busstation but didn't know I had arrived earlier:( I felt soo baaad about it...but how could I know??

People in santa Maria are very very hospitable and nice!! I knew brazilians are nice but there is something special about people here in the south! I am really happy to be here!! I am enjoying sooo much this small city where everyone lives close by and everything you need is just a few metres away from your home:) After Sao Paulo, Novosibirsk, Moscow and St Petersburg it is such a wonderful feeling!!!
